Photo Tips for House Portraits
The best house portraits start with good clear photographs.
Send either 35mm prints (4x6 size is best) or email digital photos in JPEG format at the highest resolution possible. Low-resolution photos will lose clarity and therefore will not show details as needed.
Your house portrait will be created directly from what you supply to Robert’s Art Studio. As I have never seen your house before, please send as many photographs as possible taken from various angles.
To show detail, zoom into that area from the same angle. Detail pictures of garage doors, windows, and front doors should be included.
DO photograph when the sun is directly on the front of the home - don't shoot when the home is in deep shadow.
Creative editing can be done! Trees, bushes and flowers can be added, removed, shifted, trimmed - whatever you prefer. Items that detract from the composition such as power lines, cars, etc. are omitted.
All photos will be returned with artwork.
Properties located in the central Connecticut area can be photographed for a nominal fee if you prefer.
